Brent Smith
is an American singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the bandShinedown.
In the early 1990s, Brent was in a band called "Blind Thought". Prior to fronting the rock band Shinedown, Brent was the lead singer in a band called "Dreve", which Atlantic Records had signed and sent to L.A., California to record with well-known producer Desmond Child. Shortly after returning home to Knoxville, TN, Atlantic dropped the band but retained Smith. He was soon given a developmental contract by Atlantic Records; Brent left to find other musicians to form a new band which would become Shinedown.
Eric Bass
Joined Shinedown in 2008, Eric plays bassist/pianist.
Berry Kerch
is a professional musician who plays the drums (and other percussion instruments) in the hard rock bandShinedown. Along with lead vocalist Brent Smith, he is the only remaining original member of the band. Kerch was the seventh drummer to try out for Shinedown. he holds a Bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of Central Florida.
Zach Myers
the former bassist and current guitarist for the hard rock band Shinedown, and the manager of Memphis rock pop band Sore Eyes.
Zach joined Shinedown as a touring rhythm guitarist in 2005, before becoming their temporary bassist after the departure of Brad Stewart in 2007. In early 2008, he assumed the role of permanent rhythm guitarist. On December 18, 2008 Nick Perri departed Shinedown, leaving Zach to assume the role of the band's rhythm and lead guitarist.
